SEC Champions and National Championship Bound

WWWWAAAAARRRRRRR EEEEAAGGGGLLLLEEEE!!

We are SEC Champions!  What an amazing, wonderful season we have had! Not only has our season been off the charts, we are now going to Arizona to play for the National Championship.  Never in the history of football has two state schools gone back to back to the National Championship and never has two state schools have Heisman Trophy winners!

I know I haven't posted in awhile but nothing new and exciting has really happened. I went home for Thanksgiving and tried on my wedding dress!!! I DO NOT have to have ONE thing altered!!! I was shocked and so in love with my dress! I think I look really great!  I hope Josh thinks so.

Also bought a clip to go in my hair and can't wait to see how the whole look comes together.  I am so excited!

We watched the game at my friend Gina's house over the weekend, she lives in our neighborhood, along with so many other wonderful people we know!  It is really beginning to feel like the holidays and I can't wait for Christmas to get here!  We apply for our marriage license and meet with the officiant!

Still Undefeated!

So, I haven't posted anything in awhile because we have been so busy moving into our new house that there just hasn't been enough time to breathe, let alone write!

We moved in! Yay!  Everything is moved from the mobile home and it is clean, up, and ready for sale!  Now all we need is a buyer.  This past weekend was Homecoming and Josh and I went to the game using a co-worker's tickets. Mr. Burgess had amazing seats!  We had chair backs and everything! We got to cuddle in the seats and Cam Newton came over and waved at the crowd and we even got to do "The Wave"

After half-time we went downtown to prepare for the toilet paper and bought some pretty Auburn plates I have been eye-balling for months.
Aren't they gorgeous! Now I will be able to use them for the Georgia game when I cook for Josh and I!! :-)

I am sooooo ready for the Georgia game and the Alabama game!  I worry about the Alabama game, not because of our team, but because Ill be watching it with my family, and they tend to think that my whooping and hollering is unnecessary when in fact I cannot help myself.  I am even more excited about the Alabama game because I will be trying on my wedding dress for the first time, two hours before the game!

I haven't put it on since I ordered in back in March! I know it is the right dress because I forced my granny and my mom to go to Savannah and look at it when it finally came in. (hehehe) They really are the best!

Nothing more exciting than what I have shared and will continue to blog when time allows and more exciting things develop in my life :-)  Josh and I are so lucky and so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives and we cherish every one of them.

LSU and New House

War Eagle!

Today Auburn takes on the LSU Tigers and I am extremely nervous!  Not only is Auburn undefeated, LSU players are bruisers and out for blood.  Work has been crazy lately, as many new prospective students have been interested in Auburn since we are doing so well in football. :-) Amazing how football has such a draw with the American public.

So, its been awhile since I posted last and we have made leaps and bounds with the house!  We move in October 27th! Which is in 4 days!!! I cannot believe it! I am so excited!  Im going to post the pictures of the house so everyone can see!!!

That is all for now!  We are so excited and cannot wait to get everything moved in and settled!  Ill blog again soon with pictures of us moving in!

Soon To Be Proud Home Owners

Okay, as everyone knows, I am a woman, and we change our minds.....A LOT.  Therefore, "we" have decided to purchase the home I had mentioned in my earlier post!!! I AM SO EXCITED I CANNOT SEE STRAIGHT!!!  Thus far, our closing date is October 27th!  That is the weekend of the Ole Miss/Auburn game in Oxford Miss.  It is a great chance to move in and enjoy the fresh fallI air! My parents are coming aswell to help us move in and get settled!

I cannot wait to put up decorations and get ready for the holidays.  I have been obsessed with Pottery Barn and their fall collections, however, Josh and I have been saving, saving, saving so that we can buy anything we may need come move in day!

Game Day Dresses and House Updates

War Eagle! The Auburn Tigers took another victory on the Plains this weekend as we battled to the very end against South Carolina.  Josh and I have been huddled up at home determined to save all pennies we have towards our new house project :-) and also because we both are sick with colds.

Today is a rainy day and I finally felt well enough to finish Sarah White's game day dress.  I have made a total of four thus far and cant wait to make more as my new patterns arrive that my sweet mother bought me :-)

Below are the pictures of the latest four

Yay! War Eagle!

Alright, so housing updates!  Well I did a little facebook digging the other day and found some model home pictures that look so good!  Josh and I are 98% sure we have picked out our lot and house plan.  As of right now, we are waiting to hear back from the builder and the bank about some upgrades and general questions.

My parents have been unbelievably helpful in drafting questions I wouldnt even think to ask and I am so excited about this next step. I think December is the month we wish to break ground and what a perfect Christmas Present! A new home that will be ready just in time for our wedding and honeymoon chapter in our lives!  It is such a great feeling to be a Auburn graduate, Auburn employee, future wife and home owner!!

I'm so ready for Monday to come so my emails will be answered!  Keep watching as more will be posted soon!!!

Auburn vs. Clemson Game, New House, and Sewing Projects

Well this weekend was the Auburn vs. Clemson game.  Talk about stressful.  Not only was it extremely hot, but I nearly passed out from anxiety watching Clemson kick the final field goal and miss by a mile.  So I bought my first sewing mannequin today.  I've decided to start making my own game-day dresses and selling them to friends and Auburn fans.  So check back as I continue to sew and create fun outfits!

I wore a new dress, which Ill post pictures of shortly, this past weekend and SO many people asked me where I got it!  I told them I made it and everyone wanted one!  Josh and I have decided to build a house and are going to the bank this Friday to see how much money we can borrow.  We really want to get out of our mobile home and move into a sturdy house with real door knobs, counter tops, and smooth ceilings.   Not that I am not grateful for what we have, but every time I try to close the door to the office, the plastic door knob comes off in my hand.

Not the kind of lifestyle we are looking for now that we are both working people. :-)  Below is a picture of the house we are going to build!
I just love it! I don't like the outside colors, so we would change that, but other than that I love the look!

Keep checking back as I put pictures up of my new dress creations and updates on the banking adventure!

First Blog Post!!

Alright, so on the days where work is not as exciting as usual, I have lots of time to Google and talk with the student workers.  A very exciting, up-to-date girl named Sarah White is constantly twittering, face-booking, and blogging.  After little persuasion I finally decided to get a blog and a twitter.  I already had a facebook but now I am decked out in all the new modern internet do-dads.

Keep posted as I love to talk about my favorite dogs on my fiance's farm and Auburn football. We play Clemson this weekend.  Originally being from South Carolina, I am not a big fan of Clemson OR Carolina. :-)
